Debris cleanup and bird‑guard installation ( $550 one‑time ): Recommended for systems that haven’t been pigeon‑proofed before. SolarFIX will remove existing bird nests and debris from under your panels, clean the area thoroughly, and install a protective bird guard to prevent future nesting.

New string inverter installation ( $1 500 installed ): If your existing string inverter fails or is outdated, SolarFIX can replace it with a new unit. The price includes the inverter itself and professional installation, ensuring your system operates at peak efficiency.
What does 24/7 monitoring include?
The monitoring service tracks your solar system’s performance in real-time, generating monthly reports and notifying you immediately if any issues arise.
Will I receive monthly monitoring reports automatically?
Yes, monthly monitoring reports are sent to provide a detailed breakdown of your system’s performance.

Can I cancel my membership at any time?
Yes, you can cancel your membership at any time. However, no refunds are provided for unused services or benefits, and if you have SolarFIX + Plus or Signature your Lifetime Warranty Protection ends when you cancel.
How does SolarFIX install the bird guard?
SolarFIX (working with SunsUp Cleaning) uses a welded stainless‑steel wire mesh that is pre‑cut into 5‑foot sections and coated with a thick layer of PVC. The mesh is custom‑cut to fit the contours of your roof – particularly Spanish‑tile roofs – so it sits flush and unobtrusive. The crew begins by cleaning beneath your panels, removing leaves, branches and nesting material. They then secure the mesh around the perimeter of the array to stop pigeons and other wildlife from accessing the underside of the panels. Because the mesh is durable and rust‑resistant, the installation comes with up to a 10‑year warranty.
Is bird‑nest debris cleanup included, or is there an extra fee?
If there is a heavy buildup of bird debris under your system, SolarFIX notes that there is a $550 one‑time fee for immediate cleanup.
Once your plan has started all cleanings are scheduled and included from that point on.
How frequently will you clean my solar panels under each plan?
In Arizona’s dusty environment, dirty panels can reduce energy output by 20–40%, so panels should be cleaned at least every quarter. The SolarFIX Protect Signature plan includes four cleanings per year. The standard Protect and +Plus plans focus on monitoring, discounts and loyalty points; members can schedule cleanings as needed and use loyalty points or pay a discounted rate for those services. If you live outside of Arizona, SolarFIX can recommend a local cleaning provider or coordinate with SunsUp for one‑off cleanings.
What cleaning methods and products do you use, and are they safe for my panels and roof?
SunsUp Cleaning uses a gentle water‑fed brush with deionized water and soft‑bristle brushes. This method removes dust, pollen and bird droppings without scratching the glass or voiding your manufacturer’s warranty. The use of deionized water prevents water spots and eliminates the need for harsh chemicals, leaving your panels spotless and your roof undamaged.
What equipment or app is required for monthly monitoring?
SolarFIX connects to your solar‑system monitoring portal or inverter via the internet. Customers simply provide access to their existing monitoring portal; no extra hardware is normally required. SolarFIX monitors production data, generates monthly performance reports and alerts you if your system stops producing.
How quickly will you respond when the monitoring system detects an issue?

SolarFIX is based in Arizona and partners with SunsUp Cleaning for services in the Phoenix metro area (Mesa, Gilbert, Chandler, Tempe, Scottsdale and surrounding cities). Monitoring and warranty protection are nationally backed, so customers outside Arizona can enroll in SolarFIX Protect; when an on‑site visit is needed, SolarFIX works with local service providers.
What components of my solar system are covered under the lifetime warranty?

If my installer is no longer in business, can I still get coverage?

Does warranty coverage transfer when I sell my home?
The insurance-backed lifetime warranty doesn’t automatically transfer with the property. If you sell your home, the new owner can retain the same coverage by paying a one-time enrollment fee of $600 and assuming the monthly membership fee. Once enrolled, the warranty and all associated benefits continue under the new owner’s name, providing the same level of protection for the system.
How do I schedule routine cleanings or service calls?
Our partner Suns Up Cleaning will reach out at the time of schedule services by calling SolarFIX or using the online portal. Protect members receive priority scheduling, but availability may be limited during extreme weather. If a cleaning is canceled due to weather, SolarFIX will work with you to reschedule and ensure you get your allotted cleanings.
