The monitoring service tracks your solar system’s performance in real-time, generating monthly reports and notifying you immediately if any issues arise.

Monitoring works with many systems, but not all. We will attempt to facilitate monitoring whenever possible; however, certain systems may be incompatible and unable to support monitoring.

Yes, if your system is compatible for monthly monitoring, once connected automatic reports are sent to provide a detailed breakdown of your system’s performance.

  • 10% discount on all products and services, including repairs, upgrades, and off-grid solutions.
  • Access to exclusive deals and promotions.
  • Earn loyalty points (10 points/month) to spend on cleanings, service calls, batteries, and more.

Yes, you can cancel your membership at any time. However, no refunds are provided for unused services or benefits, and if you have SolarFIX + Plus your Lifetime Warranty Protection ends when you cancel.

If compatible, SolarFIX connects to your solar‑system monitoring portal or inverter via the internet. Customers simply provide access to their existing monitoring portal; no extra hardware is normally required. SolarFIX monitors production data, generates monthly performance reports and alerts you if your system stops producing.

The monitoring team contacts you as soon as they detect a drop in production or a system shutdown. Protect +Plus members receive priority scheduling; a technician will visit as soon as possible to diagnose and fix the issue.

SolarFIX is based in Arizona and services in the Phoenix metro area (Mesa, Gilbert, Chandler, Tempe, Scottsdale and surrounding cities). Monitoring and warranty protection are nationally backed, so customers outside Arizona can enroll in SolarFIX Protect; when an on‑site visit is needed, SolarFIX works with local service providers.

The warranty covers solar panels, inverters and roof penetrations, as well as associated labor. It protects you against inverter or string failures and includes labor for diagnosis and replacement. Micro‑inverters or optimizers are typically treated as inverters. The warranty does not extend to batteries or non‑solar equipment unless you purchase separate coverage.

Coverage applies to normal equipment failures and workmanship issues, but it doesn’t cover deliberate misuse, tampering, damage from extreme weather or acts of God. Plus‑plan members have a deductible per claim. Roofing repairs unrelated to the solar penetrations and damage outside the solar array are not included. The warranty insurance is non‑transferable by default; however, if you sell your home, the new owner can continue the same coverage by paying the initial $699 fee and agreeing to the ongoing monthly membership—once they do, the lifetime warranty and all its benefits will continue under their name.

Yes. SolarFIX explicitly offers coverage for “orphaned systems” – solar arrays installed by companies that are no longer around. The warranty is insured and nationally backed, so you remain protected even if your original installer or manufacturer goes out of business.

You can move between the Protect +Plus and basic Protect plan at any time. If you upgrade, you’ll pay the applicable one‑time fee and monthly rate starting the next billing cycle. If you downgrade, you’ll lose benefits (e.g., next‑day service) at the next renewal, but there are no cancellation or downgrade fees.

SolarFIX Protect is a month‑to‑month membership. The company notes that customers may cancel at any time; you simply forfeit unused services and the warranty ends when you cancel. A one‑time fees for the +Plus plan covers the extended warranty setup and are not refundable.

SolarFIX does not list annual payment discounts. The +Plus plan requires an initial payment plus a monthly fee. Periodic promotions may be available.

Standard Protect members earn 10 loyalty points per month, which can be redeemed dollar‑for‑dollar toward cleanings, service calls, battery purchases or other upgrades. Points accumulate as long as your membership is active; they are not redeemable for cash.

Protect Members receive a 10 % discount on parts and labor for repairs, upgrades and off‑grid solutions. +Plus members also get a 10 % discount on additional services. Discounts generally exclude the one‑time plan enrollment fee and may not apply to new system installations.

The insurance-backed lifetime warranty doesn’t automatically transfer with the property. If you sell your home, the new owner can retain the same coverage by paying a one-time enrollment fee of $699 and assuming the monthly membership fee. Once enrolled, the warranty and all associated benefits continue under the new owner’s name, providing the same level of protection for the system.

Signature members receive next‑day service during regular business hours. For urgent issues outside those hours, SolarFIX’s monitoring alerts you, and you can request a technician. Emergency after‑hours dispatch may incur additional fees and is handled on a case‑by‑case basis.

There is no stated limit on warranty claims and service calls, however, excessive misuse of service calls may result in additional fees.

Manufacturer warranties typically cover equipment defects but not labor or roof penetrations. SolarFIX Protect’s warranty covers parts, labor and roof penetrations and continues to provide coverage if the manufacturer or installer ceases operations. It effectively extends your protection beyond the manufacturer’s warranty and simplifies claims because SolarFIX handles both the parts and the labor.
From the actual contract: *All roof penetration points are covered under this Service Agreement to be free from any kind of leaks due to the penetration points that may have been established through the solar system installation itself. Pre-existing roof leaks and roof damage that are determined to have existed prior to the solar installation or were not caused by the solar installation, are the sole responsibility of the homeowner. As a courtesy, The Lifetime Warranty Co., provides all of its customers, a free roof assessment prior to all solar installations, upon owners request.
